How Does Tattoo Removal Work?
The immune system views tattoo ink as a foreign substance, similar to dirt or bacteria, and slowly attacks it over time. That’s why tattoos fade, distort, and discolor.
Traditional Q-Switched lasers heat up and melt tattoo ink, making it easier for the body to absorb and metabolize over 6-8 weeks. This process lightens the tattoo’s appearance.

Dr. Nanda provided a free consultation and recommended the PicoSure treatment that, although more expensive, is the newest technology to remove tattoos in fewer treatments with basically no scarring.
